About the Role:
Join EmmUcare Home Health as a Home Health Aide and make a difference in the lives of our clients in Emporium, PA! You will provide compassionate care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and groom.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
- Help with meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition.
- Document client progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Assist with mobility and physical exercises as prescribed.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations while providing care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in home health care or a related field is a plus.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a strong desire to help others.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Must pass background checks and drug screening.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
