About the Role:
Join emmUcare Home Health as a Home Health Aide and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients in Clinton County, PA. We are looking for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to those in need.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Administer medications and monitor client health as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Help clients with mobility and physical exercises to promote independence.
- Ensure a safe and clean-living environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Home Health Aide preferred.
- Previous experience in home health care or a related field is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client locations.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification is beneficial.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
